A Legacy of Elegance

Established in 1890, The Charles Palmer House serves as a grand landmark of Queen Anne Victorian design. The house is on the National Historic Registry and we are dedicated to restoring and protecting our estate’s historic character.

Charles Palmer was the founder of Imlay City and built this house for his family. Purchasing 240 acres and developing hotels,a bank, a railroad station, etc.

Over the years the house was the home and medical provider for two different doctors, the home of Don and  Richards antique dealers,
